British born and educated Christopher Moon is a producer, engineer, songwriter with over 10 million record sales worldwide. He is credited with the discovery of Prince and writing his first hit song (Soft and Wet) as well as co-authoring a song on the #1 album of the year by MC Hammer (Hammer Time).
Moon is an accomplished writer/producer with over 20,000 hours in studio production. He was a significant force in launching the Minneapolis R&B sound in the mid 1970’s discovering and producing artists that included Jimmie Jam and Terry Lewis (Grammy winning producers for Janet Jackson), Double platinum recording artist Alexander O’Neal, Morris Day (The Time) and many others.
He has been featured in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Tonight, People Magazine, BBC and many other media stories worldwide. Moon writes lyrics for all genres of music from pop to rock, country to gospel and enjoys working with new artists around the world.
